WVU Transfer G Joe Toussaint Hears from 14+ Schools in Portal

WVU transfer Joe Toussaint entered the portal on Friday afternoon, joining Tre Mitchell and Kerr Kriisa as the trio of Mountaineers to depart. Within hours Toussaint was contacted by many Power-5 programs.

Here’s Toussaint’s list according to Joe Tipton of On3: Cal, DePaul, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pitt, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Texas Tech and Western Kentucky.

Toussaint (6-foot) transferred from Iowa after three years under Fran McCaffrey and inserted himself in a six-man role for Bob Huggins. Toussaint averaged 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in all 34 games for the Mountaineers. Toussaint had memorable performances against Pitt, Iowa State and Texas Tech this past season.

Joe Toussaint has one year of eligibility remaining.
