Smallwood, Joseph, and Worley Highlight Week 8 in the NFL

Top 3 Mountaineer Pro Performances of Week 8

1. Wendell Smallwood got another start on Saturday. He helped lead his team to a win in London, England against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He finished the game with 66 total yards. His best highlight was a 36-yard screen pass he took for a touchdown thanks to fellow Mountaineer Shelton Gibson’s excellent downfield blocking. Smallwood closed the game out with a key first down that let the Eagles run the clock out.

2. Karl Joseph had a good game against the Colts on Sunday. He finished the game with 3 solo tackles and 5 total tackles. In his third NFL season, his career numbers include 105 solo tackles, 144 total tackles, 2 interceptions, and 1 sack.

3. Daryl Worley started for the Raiders and played all 78 defensive snaps. He was the only cornerback and one of only 2 Raiders to play every defensive snap. He finished the game with 3 solo tackles. In his third NFL season, his career numbers include 128 solo tackles, 168 total tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 sacks.
