Helow joined Deion Sanders’ staff at Colorado this season and helped drastically improve a defense that held the Buffaloes back in 2023. Prior to 2024, Helow served on the Alabama staff and Michigan before that. He spent time at Maryland before Michigan and Colorado State from 2016-19. Helow has also been on a staff at both Georgia and Florida State in his career.
Helow would obviously be a long-shot type option, but is a young up and coming coach with experience working under Jim Harbaugh, Nick Saban and now Sanders.
