Week 5 of the NFL season saw a few highlights for WVU players in the NFL. Here is what happened.
Tavon Austin, Rams: The Good – Austin scored his first touchdown of the season on a 27-yard run for the Rams during the first half of their game against Seattle.

The Bad: After fumbling twice on punt returns in the game (now four times this season), the team is giving Austin “a break” from that assignment.
He finished with 27 rushing yards and 14 yards on 3 receptions.

Charles Sims, Bucs: 1 carry, 3 yards and 5 catches for 31
Will Clarke, Bucs: 1 fumble recovery
Keith Tandy, Bucs Inactive due to a hip injury
Adam Pacman Jones, Bengals: 1 tackle, left game with a back injury
Daryl Worley, Panthers: 4 tackles, 1 pass break up
Quinton Spain, Titans: Played all 59 offensive snaps for Tennessee
Wendell Smallwood, Eagles: Inactive
Rasul Douglas, Eagles: 3 tackles, 1 pass break up
Shelton Gibson, Eagles: Inactive
Karl Joseph, Raiders: Led both teams in tackles with 9. Allowed one reception on balls thrown his way. Joseph made the stop for negative yards on the play. I’ll have more on Joseph’s season later this week.
Bruce Irvin, Raiders: 2 tackles
