Trevon Wesco at WVU

Former Mountaineer Trevon Wesco found a new NFL home.

Wesco signed with the Tennessee Titans on Friday after playing with the Bears in 2022. His contract with the Titans is a one-year deal.

He recorded two receptions for 26 yards last year, giving him eight catches for 113 yards in his NFL career.

After being drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, Wsco has played in 54 games over the past four seasons, including 13 starts.

Wesco, who striated his college career at played three seasons at Lackawanna College, played three seasons at West Virginia. At WVU, he caught 28 passes for 373 yards and two touchdowns with most of that production coming in his final season. He was an all-Big 12 first team selection in 2018.

Tennessee signing Wesco makes sense as it reunites him with Titans assistant Tony Dews, who coached at West Virginia for a season. Dews is now serving as tights ends coach with the Titans after working as running backs coach under head coach Mike Vrabel.
