Watch: Tavon Austin’s Daughter Reacts to Her Dad’s Old Highlights

Many have said the best highlight reel ever belongs to Tavon Austin from his days a as a Mountaineer. But it’s possible those of a younger generation are unaware of what WVU legend put on film during his college career.

Austin took the time to teach a younger fan, one who just so happens to be his daughter, about his greatness. Video then surfaced of Austin’s daughter, Ayva, watching old clips of her dad while sitting next to the man himself.

At first, Ayva just thought she was watching any football player make a play, but then realized she was actually watching an old clip of her dad.

She can be heard saying, “why didn’t he catch him?,” likely asking why someone could not track Austin down. But once she realized the HIM she was talking about was her dad, she let out a loud and super cute, “daddy!” That, of course, made Austin smile.

So even though his professional career has been a roller coaster, Austin will always be known as the G.O.A.T (greatest of all-time) when it comes to highlights. He will also eternally live in the WVU Sports Hall of Fame.
