WVU Football game delayed

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The weather has temporarily put WVU football fans out of their misery.

Due to lightning being detected as close as eight miles away from Milan Puskar Stadium, the game between West Virginia and Duquesne has been suspended. The Mountaineers currently have a 14-10 lead after Duquesne kicked a field goal on the last possession.

As of now, the game is expected to resume at 9:07 pm ET without a halftime.

The press box has been told that the game will be delayed at least 30 minutes and 30 more minutes for each spotted lightning bolt near the area.

Below shows a couple highlights of WVU’s two touchdowns to this point in the game.

Absolute misery… The weather, the game, the atmosphere, the Pass D, the Pass O, the coaching, game planning… This game actually perfectly exemplifies the Neal Brown debacle…
