West Virginia’s Top 20 ranked 2022 recruiting class has a good chance of adding another big name.
2022 4-star linebacker Travious Lathan has announced that he will announcing his college choice on Saturday afternoon at 3 PM and it appears the Mountaineers have a good shot of landing him.
247Sports national recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong, along with 247Sports Florida recruiting insider Andrew Ivins are both forecasting Lathan to select West Virginia and overall, the 247Sports Crystal Ball has a confidence score of 93.3% that West Virginia will be it. Other schools that are believed to be in the running are LSU, Oregon and Pitt.
If Lathan does select West Virginia, he will become the fifth 4-star recruit in their Class of 2022, joining wide receiver Kevin Thomas (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), running back Justin Williams (Dallas, Georgia), cornerback Jacolby Spells (Plantation, Florida) and quarterback Nicco Marchiol (Chandler, Arizona).
