Over the weekend, class of 2020 athlete Te’Rai Powell (6’1” 195 lbs) of Montvale, New Jersey was in Morgantown for junior day.

“The visit went well.  I enjoyed it so much,  I loved the energy they brought and got to have good relationships with the coaches and I like the coaching staff a lot. Travis Trickett is my guy and I also spent time with Casey Smithson.” Powell said.

The Mountaineers haven’t officially offered Powell yet, but that could all change very soon, “As of now they told me they’re going to come up to New Jersey and come to my school in the spring to watch me workout, but I would love to return to Morgantown.”

Powell currently holds offers from Howard, UMass, Kansas, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Rutgers and Syracuse and Boston College are heavily interested.

Powell mainly lines up at running back, but can also move to receiver if needed. He’s being recruited by WVU on the offensive side by Travis Trickett. Powell also comes from the same school as West Virginia quarterback target Mike Alaimo.
