Friday evening the Mountaineers sent an offer out to class of 2020 offensive lineman Nicholas Dawkins (6’5” 300 lbs) out of Parkland High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Dawkins was extremely pleased to be offered by West Virginia and stated, “I was so excited, I couldn’t sleep. They have a tremendous winning culture, supportive fan base and amazing tradition.”

He already seems to have a pretty good repore with his lead recruiter, Chad Scott. “I love talking to Coach Scott, he’s a great guy. He really liked my film a lot, we talked about getting down to campus, West Virginia’s traditions and culture, and how I can be a great fit!” he said.

Dawkins is a very versatile piece and can play both guard and tackle at the next level and find success. With his size and versatility, more offers are certainly on the way.

He also holds offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Indiana, Rutgers, Temple, UConn, Army, Buffalo, UMass, Illinois State, William and Mary, Howard and Dartmouth.

Dawkins plans on making a return trip to Morgantown in April for the teams Gold-Blue spring game.
