West Virginia Leads Big 12 in Honorees Named to Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team

West Virginia’s student-athletes were honored on Thursday afternoon as 68 Mountaineers were named to the 2021-22 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.

WVU’s 68 student-athletes was the most in the Big 12 Conference by any other institution. Kansas was in second with 56. A total of 469 Big 12 student-athletes received the honor.

To qualify, freshmen in the 2021-22 school year must achieve at least a 3.00 GPA with 24 credit hours.
