West Virginia’s Updated Basketball Schedule for 2023-24 Season

West Virginia’s basketball program has not officially released their schedule for the 2023-24 season, but there are a few games that have been confirmed for the non-conference slate.

**Update (4/20): WVU’s non-conference schedule was officially released on Thursday afternoon.

Some of the games have been confirmed by the program recently and D1 Docket has confirmed a few buy games from the other teams. The dates listed below are not official until the schedule release.

vs. UMass (Springfield) / Dec. 16

vs. Ohio State (Cleveland) / Dec. 30

vs. Pitt / TBD

vs. Monmouth / TBD

vs. Bellarmine / TBD

vs. Toledo / TBD

vs. Drexel / TBD

West Virginia’s non-conference schedule is headlined by Pitt in the Backyard Brawl, Ohio State in Cleveland, UMass in Springfield, St. John’s in the Big East-Big 12 Battleand the Fort Myers Invitational field which includes Wisconsin, Virginia and SMU.

The Big 12 Conference schedule should be released late summer or early fall. With BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF joining the conference next season, there will be 14 teams for one season. Each team will play each other once and then play five teams for a second time. West Virginia knows that one of their paired opponents will be Cincinnati.
