WVU’s basketball non-conference schedule was officially released on Thursday afternoon, per release.

WVU’s 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule:

Missouri State / Nov. 6 (H)

Monmouth / Nov. 10 (H)

Jacksonville State / Nov. 14 (H)

Fort Myers Tip-Off (2/3 of Wisconsin, Virginia, SMU) / Nov. 20, 22

West Virginiaโ€™s non-conference schedule is headlined by Pitt in the Backyard Brawl, Ohio State in Cleveland,ย UMass in Springfield, St. Johnโ€™s in the Big East-Big 12 Battle and the Fort Myers Invitational field which includes Wisconsin, Virginia and SMU.

West Virginia will play one exhibition game before the season, that will be announced during the summer.

The Big 12 Conference schedule should be released late summer or early fall. With BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF joining the conference next season, there will be 14 teams for one season. Each team will play each other once and then play five teams for a second time. West Virginia knows that one of their paired opponents will be Cincinnati.
