Brad Birch, a Class of 2024 quarterback who threw for 2,750 yards and 32 touchdowns for Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, as a sophomore last season, tweeted that he’ll be at West Virginia on June 20.

Birch will also be at Cincinnati June 17, Penn State June 22 and Virginia Tech June 26.

Birch played Jennette High School in Westmoreland County as a freshman in 2020 before transferring to Gateway. He currently has offers from Akron and Oregon, with former Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead having a hand in both.

Moorhead was the offensive coordinator at Oregon in April of 2021 when the Ducks offered Birch. On Dec. 9, the same day Akron introduced Moorhead as its next head coach, the Zips offered Birch.

Gateway High School is where former Penn State player and current associate head coach/cornerbacks coach Terry Smith played and was the head coach from 2002-12.
