Parkersburg, West Virginia native and former Penn State tight end Brenton Strange has been selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft.

WVU sends an offer to Sean Cuono (6-foot and 190 pounds), a class of 2025 athlete from Florida.

Update (2:00 PM) – 

WVU DB Caleb Coleman announced on social media on Friday afternoon that he will be entering the transfer portal. Coleman spent two seasons at West Virginia.

WVU big Jimmy Bell has entered his name into the transfer portal on Friday afternoon, Verbal Commits confirmed. Bell leaves West Virginia after one season.

WVU has landed another transfer in defensive lineman Tyrin Bradley.

The 6-foot-4 and 255-pound Abilene Christian transfer tweeted his commitment to the Mountaineers Friday afternoon.

Chris Hewitt Jr., a class of 2026 athlete from Maryland at 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, post about getting an offer from WVU.

Update (9:00 AM) – 

Class of 2025 4-star QB prospect Trever Jackson receives an offer from WVU. Jackson is from Florida and is listed at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds.

Update (8:30 AM) – 

WVU sends an offer to class of 2025 3-star WR Ryan Matulevich. He’s from Florida and listed at 6-foot and 185 pounds.
