WVU 2023 Commit Jordan Louie Taking Visit to Georgia

West Virginia is going to have to fight in order to hold onto one of the most talented players in their Class of 2023.

3-star running back Jordan Louie has been committed to the Mountaineers since June went on an unofficial visit to another school last weekend and will be at another school this coming weekend.

Louie, who attends Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia, visited North Carolina last week and tells West Virginia Sports Now that he’ll be visiting the defending champion, Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday.

Louie committed to Neal Brown and the Mountaineers on June 13 but with the season he’s currently having with Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia, it’s not surprising Louie is still getting pursued by other programs. This past Friday, Louie rushed the ball 11 times for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns and also had 6 receptions for 77 yards. Two weeks ago, he collected 152 yards on the ground, 100 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns.

West Virginia Sports Now caught up with Louie and asked him about his thoughts about visiting Georgia and what his commitment level currently was with West Virginia.

“This is a once in a lifetime thing and I’m enjoying the process of it,” said Louie. “Also, I want to get to experience different atmospheres. My relationship with them (Georgia) is pretty good. They have been talking really well about me. My commitment with WVU is still there. I just want to get the feel of different places and atmospheres.”

Louie tells WVSN that he still plans on visiting Florida State and “possibly” Clemson.
