No matter how it ends, the 2025 WVU baseball season will go down as historic. Not only did West Virginia win the program’s first-ever outright conference title, but they also shattered a record in the process.

On Sunday, WVU officially broke their attendance record again, this time destroying last year’s mark. According to WVU, 77,359 attended the team’s 24 home games, breaking the last season’s then record of 67,084.

West Virginia also set a new record for a single game when 4,629 attended the home Backyard Brawl against Pitt.
