WVU Baseball Earns NCAA Tournament At-Large Bid as 2 Seed

The 2023 WVU baseball team will now have one final opportunity to end their season on a positive note. On the heels of a losing streak, West Virginia gets an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
It was just a few weeks ago when the Mountaineers were projected to host a regional, but Randy Mazey’s will settle for a two seed in the Lexington Region after being swept to end their regular season and then immediately losing their first two games in the Big 12 Tournament.

Despite the disappointment of the recent losing skid, West Virginia can already claim one title from the 2023 baseball season – a share of the Big 12 regular season championship. Can WVU earn one more, this one being a national championship, and re-write the narrative about the end of their year?
