WVU Basketball has offered 2024 forward Godslove Nwabude on Wednesday afternoon. WVU interim HC Josh Eilert reached out to the Mt. Zion Prep prospect.

“Blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University. Thanks coach Josh Eilert for the great talk,” Nwabude said on X.

Nwabude (6-foot-9) is currently on Mt. Zion Prep Academy’s roster in Maryland. Nwabude is 19 years old. Nwabude is an athletic forward that can finish in the paint with force. Nwabude would be an option for West Virginia to add after the first semester if they chose to do so. Nwabude is a 2024 prospect but would have the opportunity to join the team when eligible.

West Virginia currently has three scholarship players playing in the frontcourt with Jesse Edwards, Quinn Slazinski and Patrick Suemnick. WVU also has walk on Ali Ragab, a transfer from Gannon University.
