WVU Basketball has scheduled three visits for the weekend of Sept. 23, a source tells WV Sports Now. West Virginia will host Carmelo Adkins (2024 CG), Jinup Dobuol (2024 F) and Gob Gob (JUCO G).

West Virginia’s staff offered Adkins and Dobuol over the weekend and recently got involved with Gob’s recruitment.

Adkins (6-foot-5) is a combo guard originally from Keller, Texas. Adkins has received offers from Bryant, Holy Cross and West Virginia. Adkins reclassified from 2023 to 2024 for his postgraduate year at PHHoenix Prep OTE.

Dobuol (6-foot-8) is a three-star prospect from Saint Paul, Minn. Dobuol has picked up offers from Bethune-Cookman, Northern Arizona, Ole Miss, Portland, UCSB, West Virginia and Wichita State.

Gob (6-foot-3) currently plays at Hill College. Over the summer, Gob received offers from Cleveland State and Kansas City.

West Virginia will host the trio when the football team takes on Texas Tech as the Mountaineers complete a three-game home stand. WVU’s coaching staff is preparing to host Naas Cunningham (2024 G) and Chance Mallory (2025 G) during the Backyard Brawl weekend. The two prospects are four-star recruits. Cunningham was recently offered by WVU’s staff while Mallory has been in touch with assistant DerMarr Johnson over the summer.
