New WVU basketball head coach Ross Hodge has yet to be officially introduced, but that’s not stopping West Virginia from reaching out to transfer players. Having already made contact with one veteran guard, WVU is also looking at Milwaukee transfer Themus Fulks, according to the Portal Report.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Fulks played the 2024-25 season as a redshirt senior. He averaged 14.6 points, 5.9 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game after transferring from Louisiana Lafayette.

Fulks led his Louisiana Lafayette team to the NCAA Tournament as a sophomore. He started his college at South Carolina State, making his next school his fourth overall in his college career.

It also seems like Fulks has plenty of options, as he’s drawing interest from programs of all kinds. Boston College, Duquesne, Fresno State, George Mason, George Washington, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, Tulsa, UTSA, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Washington State are some of the other school who have contacted with Fulks so far.
