WVU Fans Offer Mixed Reaction After ASU Loss, No Bowl Game
WVU fans watched the Mountaineers’ win steak come to an end on Saturday. Despite a competitive effort and coming back from a two-score deficit, West Virginia fell to Arizona State 25-23.
The loss ruined any hope of capping off the season in bowl game.
Below shows reaction from WVU fans from during and after the game. And as usual, that reaction shows a clear divide among the fans about what to make of this team and season overall.
Frustrated but not discouraged at all by this game.
WVU football is on the right track now.
The culture is being set. The talent and experience will improve big time.

Agree but we definitely should've won this one! Oh well, at least we have something to build off now!!

Terrible football from WVU
Their โdriveโ took off :38 seconds and they run into the punt returner for a personal foul
1st & 10 ASU at their own 35 with 1:03 left#UnpluggedArmy

165 of WVUโs 402 yards were from 2 plays.

Is it going to always be pain and suffering as a WVU fan? Because itโs felt like this for years. We havenโt won a conference in football since 2011 and havenโt been to a major bowl since the 2012 Orange Bowl. 4 wins is pathetic for WVU regardless if we are bad.

Gonna be fun watching WVU football for the next few years

If #WVU playing their best football in November despite having a porous roster at this point in the season, doesn't leave you impressed with this #WVUFootball coaching staff, then nothing will. You can literally feel the shift in this program! I'm hype for the future!
