A highly rated quarterback prospect with options will be in Morgantown next weekend. Brodie McWhorter, a four-star in the 2025 class, announced his upcoming trip to check out the WVU football program on X (Twitter) on Friday.

This won’t be McWhorter’s first trip to West Virginia, having been on campus back in February. McWhorter, who attends Cass High School in Kingston, Ga., posted pictures with West Virginia head coach Neal Brown and another one with quarterbacks coach Tyler Allen while publicizing the news.

McWhorter offered this message on social media after his February visit: “West Virginia visit was everything I could ask for these past two days! I appreciate every coach that took the time out to show me all the love. Can’t wait to get back to check out a game this fall!”

Two major national recruiting outlets rank McWhorter as a four-star while one awards him only three stars.

To put McWhorter’s recruitment in context, he has offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, North Carolina and Ohio State among others. And in addition to those offers, Alabama, Clemson, Louisville, LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee have also expressed interest.
