WVU Football Offers Highly Coveted 2025 4-Star DB Ben Hanks Jr.

The WVU football program is going after a highly coveted cornerback recruit out of Miami, Florida.

Ben Hanks Jr., a consensus four-star player in the class of 2025, tweeted about receiving an offer from WVU late Tuesday night. This came after announcing an offer from Michigan hours earlier.

Hanks (6-foot-1, 160 pounds) has two more high school seasons remaining at Booker T. Washington High School.

He’s ranked as a top 30 Florida recruit by most outlets and as high as number 13 by 247 Sports. Hanks is considered a top 100 player nationally, earning a ranking of number 61 by 247 as his best placement compared to the rest of the country.

Hanks already has 10 offers, most notably from Power Five schools like Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (FL), Michigan State and Texas A&M.
