WVU outfielder Landon Wallace didn’t get drafted, but is getting an opportunity to be part of an MLB franchise nonetheless.

The Los Angeles Angels signed Wallace as an undrafted free agent on Tuesday night. Wallace (6-foot-2, 170 pounds), a Roseville, California native, joins an organization in his home state.

After spending his first two college seasons in Nevada, Wallace transferred to West Virginia in 2023. The right handed slugger’s college career statistics are the following: a .312 batting average, 11 home runs, 49 RBI, 62 hits, 46 runs scored and a .563 slug percentage in 59 games.
