WVU OL Tomas Rimac Leaves Game Against TCU, Limps Off Field

Later in a game that Aubrey Burks left on a stretcher, WVU would lose another key player to injury. Offensive lineman Tomas Rimac was seen limping off the field after being knocked down during on an extra point.

Rimac would immediately head over to the medical tend on the sidelines. There is no update on his status and what injury he may have endured, but he has been replaced at left guard by Brandon Yates.

At the time of Rimac’s injury, West Virginia and TCU were all tied up at 21 late in third quarter. The Mountaineers, as they have all season, have used the run game to climb back and give themselves a chance at the upset.

Listed at 6-foot-6 and 314 pounds, Rimac is a redshirt sophomore from Brunswick, Ohio.
