If he was to select Florida State, he would join Winston Wright Jr. in Tallahassee, but there are little known connections to his other choices. Porter Jr. played in 19 games over two seasons with the Mountaineer secondary and notched 46 tackles (40 solo), one TFL, one interception, and five pass break-ups.
