WVU Women Pick Up Transfer From Big 12 Rival

The WVU women’s basketball team picked up a transfer on Tuesday with Texas Tech’s Loghan Johnson committing to the Mountaineers, according to a report by Talia Goodman of On3 Sports.
Johnson, a Texas native, will have two seasons of eligibility left.

Rated as a four-star prospect coming out of high school, Loghan Johnson played in 69 games and made 13 starts across two seasons with the Red Raiders.
Johnson (5-10) averaged 4.6 points per game as a freshman and 5.4 points per game as a sophomore. She also averaged 1.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 38.9% on three-pointers and over 50% from the floor (52.3%).
Johnson is the first transfer picked up by the Mountaineers this offseason.
