Mesidor was a signing-day surprise get for the Mountaineer coaching staff in the 2020 recruiting class. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Mesidor played high school football at Clearwater Academy in Florida. In 2020, he racked up 32 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and a team-leading five sacks. He was named to the All-Big 12 second team and an honorable mention for Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year following the season.
Frazier was the top-rated in-state recruit in the 2020 class, coming out of Fairmont Senior High School. He started the team’s opener against Eastern Kentucky and started the final eight games of the season at left guard. Frazier was named an All-Big 12 honorable mention following the season.
