2020 3-Star OG Jordan White Commits to WVU

The West Virginia Mountaineers have added another offensive lineman to the class of 2020.

Jordan White, a three-star offensive guard from DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Maryland, announced his verbal commitment to WVU on Sunday.

In addition to West Virginia, White held scholarship offers from Maryland, LSU, UMass, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Virginia and Wisconsin.

White is the fourth offensive line commit for WVU in the class of 2020, following Chris Mayo (guard), Zach Frazier (center) and Jacob Gamble (tackle).

The Mountaineers have two offensive linemen that are out of eligibility and will not be returning next season: Colton McKivitz and Kelby Wickline.

West Virginia head coach Neal Brown, co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Moore and defensive secondary coach Jahmile Addae had an in-home visit with White last Wednesday, while White made his official visit to WVU this weekend.

White had previously been committed to Maryland. He reopened his commitment on Nov. 9, in the middle of the Terrapins’ eventual 73-14 loss to Ohio State.

Two days later, White received an offer from WVU.

White’s verbal commitment brings West Virginia’s 2020 class to 16 prospects with college football’s early signing period beginning on Dec. 18.
