2023 4-Star LB Josiah Trotter Picks Mountaineers

Originally committing back in April, four-star Pennsylvania linebacker Josiah Trotter (6-foot-2, 230-pounds) has signed his national letter of intent to West Virginia.

Trotter is a four-star recruit on both Rivals and ESPN, who also both rank him among the 10 best players in the state of Pennsylvania at No. 7 (Rivals) and No. 9 (ESPN). 247Sports, despite having him as a three-star recruit, also place him in the top 10 at No. 7.

All three also place him among the top 50 linebackers in the country with ESPN (No. 15) and Rivals (No. 16) having him fall in their top 20. On3 is the outlier for Trotter, as them have him as the No. 24 ranked prospect in Pennsylvania and the No. 104 ranked linebacker in the country.

Trotter committed back on April 15, 2022. He recently won a Pennsylvania state championship with his high school St. Joseph’s, which is located in Philadelphia.
