2024 3-Star DB to Decide Between WVU Football, 3 Other Schools Soon

The Mountaineers now know the dare they’ll know if they’ll be adding yet another recruit to the WVU football family.
Class of 2024 defensive back KeyShawn Adams tweeted that he will be announcing his choice of schools on June 24. Adams, a 6-foot-1 and 185-pound prospect out of Avon Old Farms High School in Avon, Connecticut, has his list narrowed down to Duke, Connecticut, Virginia and West Virginia.

Adams is regarded as a three-star player by most outlets and considered among the top defensive back recruits in the New England region.
247 Sports has him ranked as the number 10 recruit in Connecticut. Adams is considered a safety by most outlets.
For his recruiting timeline, Adams was offered by WVU in March. He recently took an official visit to Virginia.

WVU is trying to acquire as much talent for the secondary as possible, knowing the program will likely lose some cornerbacks and safeties after the 2023 season and needs more depth regardless.
On Saturday, West Virginia gained a commitment from another three-star cornerback for 2024.
