Listed at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Frederique is currently a junior at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. He took his official visit to Morgantown last weekend.
WVU sent Frederique an offer on April 11. The Mountaineers were one of only a few non Florida based Power Five schools to offer Frederique at the time, joining the likes of new Big 12 members Houston and UCF. He has also received offers from FIU, FAU, Florida State and Miami (FL) among others
Frederique is regarded as a three-star player by multiple recruiting outlets and ranked as one of the top 100 Florida prospect by 247 Sports.
Securing a commitment from Frederique accomplishes two goals for the WVU football program – add depth to the future of the secondary and continue to build a Florida recruiting pipeline.
