A class of 2025 three-star recruit is already including the WVU football program among his top schools. Jeffrey Overton Jr. posted a graphic on X (Twitter) on Sunday to show the Mountaineers on his top 10.

Overton, who is considered a running back by some outlets and just an athlete by others, is also considering Duke, Maryland, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Pitt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Listed as 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, Overton attends Freedom High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. He is rated as a three-star prospect by both On3.com and Rivals as far as major recruiting outlets. On3.com ranks Overton the most favorably, placing as the number 14 player in the state.

Overton has experience at running back and defensive back.

Boston College, JMU and South Carolina are some of the schools who offered Overton but did not make the cut to be in his current top 10.
