2025 4-Star ATH Narrows List, Includes WVU Football in Top 6

WVU Football recruit Tony Williams

As the WVU football program prepares for the spring practice session, the coaching staff is still also focused on recruiting. And now they know their pitch to a top prospect is working.

2025 four-star athlete Tony Williams decided to reduce his list of offers down to six schools that he’d like to focus on: Pitt, West Virginia, Florida State, Arkansas, Central Florida and Rutgers. Other Power Four schools that offered Williams include Penn State, Purdue, Mississippi State, Iowa, USC and Oregon.

Williams (6-foot-2, 190-pounds) is a star cornerback at Palm Beach Central High School in Wellington, Florida.

In the latest national rankings, Rivals lists Williams as the No. 11 cornerback in the Class of 2025 and one of the Top 40 prospects in the talent rich state of Florida.
