Moments ago, class of 2020 defensive end Taurus Simmons (Savannah, GA) committed to West Virginia.

Simmons chose West Virginia over other offers from Colorado, Georgia Southern, Kansas State and a few others.
Simmons is currently listed as a defensive end, but will likely make the switch to outside linebacker, due to his 6’3″ 215 pound frame. He has a great deal of speed and could line up as a stand up edge rusher from time to time.
He becomes the 11th commitment of the class and the 2nd edge rusher in the class.
