Keddy Johnson Records New Career-High 18 Points on Saturday
As West Virginia lost their fifth-straight contest on Saturday to Arkansas, 77-68, there was a few positives to come out of the game. One positive was the spark on offense that Kedrian “Keddy” Johnson gave the Mountaineers. Johnson’s 18 points against the Razorbacks was a career-high at the Division-I level.
Johnson played in 24 minutes, hitting multiple big shots to keep WVU in the game. The senior guard from Texas just wanted to give his team a chance to win the game.
“[I]Just wanted to win,” Johnson said postgame. “We lost four in-a-row before the game. Just the will to win, doing whatever it takes.”
