Big 12 Reveals Conference Matchups for WVU Basketball

The conference matchups for the upcoming 2026-27 WVU basketball season were announced on Thursday by the Big 12.

WVU will play three Big 12 teams twice, trading home games with Cincinnati, Iowa State and UCF.

The Mountaineers will host Arizona, Arizona State, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and TCU. WVU’s road games include Baylor, BYU, Colorado, Kansas, Texas Tech and Utah.

In head coach Ross Hodge’s first year, West Virginia finished the season at 18-14 with a 9-10 Big 12 record, including 0-1 in the conference tournament. The Mountaineers finished with three straight wins, culminating in a College Basketball Crown Championship.
