Big 12 Reveals Info About the WVU Football 2026 Regular Season Finale

On Friday afternoon, the Big 12 Conference announced information about the 2026 WVU football schedule.

West Virginia’s final football game of the season at Utah will take place on Friday, Nov. 27, in Salt Lake City and be televised on FOX at either 8 or 9 p.m., ET. The game was initially scheduled to kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 28th, but was moved to Friday in early April.

Rich Rodriguez and his new-look Mountaineers will try avenge 2025’s beatdown at the hands of the Utes. Utah beat WVU in Morgantown to the tune of 48-14 in late September.

For only the fifth time since becoming a member of the Big 12 Conference in 2012, WVU’s schedule includes seven home dates. It features five conference games and nonconference matchups with Coastal Carolina (Sept. 5) and UT Martin (Sept. 12). The Mountaineers will open their season by playing five of their first seven games at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The first three game times, networks and special date television selections will be announced later this month.
