Day of WVU Football 2026 Regular Season Finale at Utah Moved

A potentially pivotal game to close the 2026 regular season at Utah has been moved to Friday, Nov. 27, as announced by the Big 12 on Friday.

The game was initially scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28. The network designation and time of the game will be announced at a later date.

Utah won the last meeting between the two programs, beating West Virginia 48-14 in September during the 2025 season.

But before the regular season approaches, the Mountaineers will conclude spring football practice on Saturday, April 18 when they play welcome fans for the Gold-Blue Spring Festival at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Headlining the Festival, for the first time ever, will be a free postgame concert on Mountaineer Field featuring Jake Owen. Admission is free to the public. The concert will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the game at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The WVU football program opened up spring practice to the media, including WV Sports Now, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
