Last summer, the Big 12 postponed and eventually canceled its football media days, not even opting for a virtual format.
This summer, the head coach and two student-athletes from each school will be available. Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, TCU and West Virginia are scheduled for day one on Wednesday and Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech are slated for day two on Thursday.
There are two new head coaches in the conference heading into the 2021 season, Kansas’s Lance Leipold and Texas’s Steve Sarkisian. KU hired Leipold away from Buffalo at the end of April and UT is giving Sarkisian another chance at a head coaching job after he revived his career at Alabama.
