Despite leaving West Virginia before the 2023 season, Kaden Prather now becomes another ex Mountaineer with a shot at playing in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills drafted Prather in the seventh round to conclude their draft on Saturday.

Prather, a Neal Brown recruit at the start of his college career, now gets a chance to catch passes from Josh Allen in the NFL.

Prather began his college career at WVU, where he caught 12 passes for 175 yards as a true freshman in 2021. His first strong season came in 2022, when he made 52 receptions for 501 yards and three touchdowns.

The Maryland native then returned home to play for the Terapins. He caught 98 passes for 1,290 yards and nine touchdowns across two seasons for Maryland, reaching 600 yards both years.
