Bob Huggins to Coach in His 500th Game at West Virginia on Wednesday

As the Mountaineers welcome Oklahoma to the WVU Coliseum, on Wednesday night, it will mark the 500th game that head coach Bob Huggins has coached at West Virginia.

Huggins has coached at WVU for the past 15 seasons, winning 323 games as a head coach at his alma mater. The 40-year coaching veteran has led West Virginia to a final four appearance (2010) and 4-Sweet 16 appearances (2008, 2015, 2017-18). In his 500 games coaching at West Virginia, Huggins has been able to produce numbers professional players such as Jevon Carter, Miles McBride, Joe Alexander, Kevin Jones, Devin Ebanks, Jaysean Paige, amongst other NBA G-League and international pros. Huggins has won 912 games as a NCAA coach, becoming the fourth all-time on the wins list.
