BREAKING: West Virginia adds defensive back transfer from New Hampshire
Timely recruiting news for Mountaineers fans as we learn that West Virginia will be adding New Hampshire defensive back Alonzo Addae. Addae took to Twitter for his announcement yesterday.
In 2018, Addae totaled 25 tackles and 6 pass break ups in 11 games for the Wildcats. As a redshirt freshman in 2017, he collected 36 tackles, 6 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Addae is a much needed pickup after the Mountaineers have had three safeties enter the transfer portal over the last two days (Kenny Robinson, Derrek Pitts, E.J. Brown).
He will have one year of eligibility remaining and will have to sit out 2019.
