WVU Football WR Christian Hamilton

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.

Christian Hamilton joined the North Carolina Tar Heels as a four star recruit out of high school, playing 11 games (four starts) across two seasons. He transferred to WVU Football following the spring practice period, likely after getting an idea of where he would land on the Tar Heels depth chart under new head coach, Bill Belichick.

The 5-foot-11, 189 pound receiver has three seasons of eligibility left to recognize his four-star potential in Rich Rodriguezโ€™ up-tempo offense.

Last year: Hamilton played in eight games for UNC, starting four.

Stats: Across his college career, Hamilton has ten catches for 179 yards (including long catches of 42 and 58 yards) along with a touchdown.

Camp outlook: Thereโ€™s a good deal of youth in the Mountaineers receiving corps (and many of their older receivers transferred in from the lower levels of the sport) so Hamilton has a strong chance of earning major playing time.

Projected role: Expect Hamilton to start some games in 2025, much as he did last season. He might not turn into a star right away, but has plenty of talent that will help him stand out.

Accolades, highlights: A four-star recruit out of high school, Hamilton earned an All-America Bowl selection.
