Rich Rodriguez is adding an accomplished transfer linebacker to his defense in Chase Wilson. The Colorado State transfer announced his commitment to WVU on Friday night.

Wilson will now be moving east after five years at CSU. He will play his final college season at West Virginia. Wilson made his decision to commit to WVU only two days after posting a message about his exit from Colorado State.

Wilson earned his second straight All-Mountain West second team selection in 2024. He totaled the second most tackles on his team with 98.

Throughout his college career, Wilson has 234 tackles in 37 games with the Rams.
