Details of Miles McBride’s NBA Contract Released

Reported first by ESPN’s Bobby Marks, former WVU guard Miles “Deuce” McBride’s NBA contract with the New York Knicks has been released with year and money amounts.

McBride’s contract is for two years guaranteed with a potential third year. The 6-foot-2 guard will receive slightly under the $1 million mark his rookie season but is guaranteed to make $1.8 million his second year.

The second-round pick is currently in Las Vegas, Nevada competing in the NBA Summer League this week. The former Mountaineer has played 51 minutes in two games, averaging 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal.

McBride will resume play tomorrow night for the Knicks against the Los Angeles Lakers. Tip-off is set for Wednesday at 10 p.m. on ESPN2.
