McNeil missed the Radford game, it was announced an hour before tip-off on Saturday that he was going to miss the game. After the game, WVU head coach Bob Huggins said that he didn’t know how McNeil got injured and he had not talked to him about it.
During Huggins’ press conference, on Tuesday, the all-time great coach did not have an update on McNeil’s status for Wednesday.
“It’s probably day-to-day, I would guess,” he said.
McNeil is averaging 12.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in seven games played this season. The Kentucky native is shooting 34 percent from three-point range.
McNeil will get a chance to get WVU their best win of the season.
