While most analysts are high on Zach Frazier ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, hearing from a former offensive lineman stands out.

“You don’t get far into film study before you realize that Zach (Frazier) s going to be a good player at next level,” said former NFL offensive lineman turned analyst Brian Baldinger.

Baldinger talked about the WVU product while also staring a video with his commentary from a show on X (Twitter). It was in that clip that Baldinger shared insight on what he’s hearing from NFL executives about Frazier.

“I texted a personnel director the first day I watched him and I just said, ‘can Zach Frazier start at center for you?’ He goes right now, like April whatever it was, March whatever it was,” offered Baldinger.

After growing up in Pittsburgh, Pa., Baldinger played college football at Duke and then played 143 games in the NFL. He spent time on rosters for the Cowboys, Colts, Bills (practice squad) and Eagles from 1982 to 1993. Baldinger now serves as an analyst for the NFL Network and Fox Sports among other outlets.

A month after impressing scouts in drills at the NFL Combine, Zach Frazier performed admirably again at the Big 12 Pro Day event on Saturday.

Frazier, who held off on running the 40 in Indianapolis and promised he would do it at the Big 12 Pro Day, was clocked at a 5.24.

WVU head coach Neal Brown showered Frazier with praise once it was clear his college career was over, highlighting how much his final play shows his intelligence as a player.

“I can’t say enough about Zach Frazier. So appreciative of him and his family. I think one play sums up who he is for his entire career, and I just hope our fanbase, a young man from Fairmont, I think he’s the best center in college football,” said Brown.
