White, who played 51 snaps in 2020 and then received a redshirt in 2021, was counted on some this past season. He appeared in four games, starting in three of them for the 2022 Mountaineers.
White saw action at guard, right tackle and even center in 11 total games played for WVU. The Maryland native will now be on the hunt for his next college stop with plenty of eligibility left due to the COVID season and redshirt year.
White was part of the 2020 class and was a three-star recruit. He was one of their first commitments of that class, signing his letter of intent on December 18, 2019. He enrolled early in the summer too in June of 2020.
As of now, WVU has lost 17 players to the transfer portal this year and they lead the Big 12 in transfer portal losses in terms of quantity.
